Tomorrow’s meet brings to a close a wonderful and wet 2019/2020 season. We hope everyone has enjoyed the season and the committee would like to thank those who continued to help run Wonthaggi Little Athletics.

This week it is Program A, which means long hurdles. Athletes doing long hurdles should arrive and be ready to go at 8:45am. Our Under 8 parents are on set up duty. Please arrive by 8:15am to help set up. The duties involved are;
- racking the sandpit
- wiping out shot put/discus areas
- set up high jump mats and hurdles if applicable
- putting out equipment. Please note parents or guardians must stay at the oval and with children at all times. Everybody else should be there by 8:45 for warm up and announcements. It was terrific once again to see lots of parents stepping up to help out. This leads to a smoother meet and many groups completing their events very quickly.

A new committee will need to be elected for 2020/2021 season. So please think about stepping forward so Wonthaggi Little Athletics can run in the 2020/2021 season. Roles that will need to be filled are President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Registrar, Regional Delegate, Uniform Officer and General Committee.

Don’t forget presentation night will be held on Friday 20th of March an is a fantastic way to celebrate the children’s achievements. BYO picnic blanket, chair and food.
